PT Ceria Nugraha Indotama (PT CNI) presented Ustad Taqi Malik to give Tausiyah (broadcasting of dawah) to the Santri and Orphans, who have been fostered by PT CNI, and also to employees of PT CNI. The event held on Friday and Saturday, 13-14 September 2019, was one of PT CNI’s commitment for CSR programs to the community in the surrounding mining area.
Ustad Taqi Maliq, a graduate of Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, has memorized the 30 Juz of Al-Qur’an since the age of 13. In addition, Ustad Taqi was able to emulate the melodious voice of 40 Saudi high priests.
The series of events began on Friday, November 13, 2019, starting with Fajr Prayer in congregation with some of the CNI employees, followed by a short sermon with the theme ‘Blessings of reading and practicing the Al-Qur’an in human life’ by Ustad Taqi. The next event was attending a lunch invitation at the residence of the Head of Sub-district Wolo. The event then continued at Wolo District Mosque where Ustad Taqi was the preacher and Imam Prayers for Friday congregation. It was also attended by the Santri and students of elementary school to senior high. After the Friday prayer Ustad Taqi gave a Spiritual splash with the headline “How the Al-Qur’an changed my life”.
“I am impressed with the holding of this event, in the future I hope Ceria will establish Al-Qur’an reading room at CNI Mine Area, to encourage memorization of the Qur’an, and every person who succeeds in memorizing 30 Juz will receive a gift for Umrah or for Hajj from PT CNI as part of the company’s CSR” said Ustad Taqi.
After leaving Wolo sub-district, Ustad Taqi and his entourage went to Kolaka Grand Mosque to perform Maghrib Prayers in congregation and continued with a lecture titled “An invitation to memorize the Al-Qur’an and the rhythm of reading the Al-Fatiha letter correctly”. This activity gained tremendous enthusiasm from the Kolaka community.
The peak of the event took place when PT CNI invited all the orphans and Santri in Kolaka to have dinner together at the Sutan Raja hotel. The event which was also attended by Mr. H. Ahmad Safei, S.H., M.H., as the Regent of Kolaka, was then concluded with a motivational lecture by Ustad Taqi.
This activity was one of PT CNI’s CSR programs which was revised in 2019, and the company hopes to continue to contribute to the development and empowerment of the community, especially in the area surrounding the mine.
