PT Ceria NUGRAHA INDOTAMA (PT CNI) – site WOLO conducted a social action in the form of providing food relief to the community surrounding the company’s working area.
The basic food packages were distributed to 2 urban villages comprising of of 10 villages. They are: Wolo and Ulu Wolo Urban Villages; and Villages of Samenre, Tolowe Ponre Waru, Muara lapao-pao, Lapoa-pao, Ulu lapao-pao, Iwoimapuro, Lalonggopi, Langgomali, Lalonaha and Lana Village last Monday (4/27).
Basic food packages were given to underprivileged citizens who were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. As many as 703 packages divided into 89 and 27 packages distributed to ring 1 and ring 2, respectively. The food relief provided by PT CNI is in the form of basic food packages such as sugar, cooking oil, sardines, milk, instant noodles and also rice. PPM / CSR Coordinator, EXTERNAL DEPT. Muhammad Ilham explained that the food packages distributed to the community would ease their burden caused by the Covid-19 outbreak.
According to Andi Agung, Head sub-district of Wolo, “The packages are to be distributed no latest than H+4 of Ramadhan month, so the people can enjoy it by the first week of fasting,” he said in an interview on Monday (4/27/2020).
All Urban Village / Village Heads expressed their gratitude for the aid provided by PT CNI. “Thank you for PT Ceria Nugraha Indotama for the basic food assistance for the underprivileged people who are affected by Covid-19, which was provided to greet the Ramadan month,” he concluded.
In addition to food relief, PT CNI previously had provided assistance in distributing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Police Chief, Resort Police Kolaka District, AKBP Saiful Mustofa; 85, 50, and 50 mouths masks to Public Health Centres in Wolo, Iwomeinda, Tosiba, respectively. PT CNI also distributed 50 mouth masks to Tamborasi alert post – cluster team of Covid-19, and also provided Covid-19 countermeasures. The masks are the work of fostered mothers of PT CNI.
