WOLO- As a company commitment in the field of education, Ceria’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program helped build a public kitchen for Darul Arqam Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Ponre Village, Wolo District.
“Alhamdulillah, with the permission of Allah SWT and also the full support of the Government, especially Ceria, who has implemented the PPM / CSR program for the construction of a public kitchen for the Darul Arqam Islamic boarding school in Ponre Village,” said Darul Arqam Islamic Boarding School Leader, H Muhammad Nasir TP.
According to Ustadz Muhammad Nasir, the construction of a public Ponpes kitchen is very urgent, because the previous condition of the kitchen, which was outdated and worrisome, while the number of students continues to grow each year. This is what they are grateful for, for the help from Ceria.
“In the process ahead, the construction of a public kitchen for santri (students) covering an area of 7x13M² will take two to three months, God willing,” he said.
As a gratitude, Ustadz Nasir quoted a hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari and Muslim from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani radhiyallahu’anhu, “Whoever helps equip people who are jihad in the path of Allah, then really he has also joined the jihad, and whoever helps family of a person who jihad in the path of Allah with some kindness, then he has also joined the jihad. ”
“We are very grateful and grateful for the visit and support from Ceria, and to the donors to complete the facilities and infrastructure in this cottage. The condition of the kitchen is very sad, but what can I say, we don’t have the ability to make a better one. Alhamdulillah Wabarakallah Ceria is ready to help, of course we are very grateful once again,” he said.
He added that the community’s enthusiasm to enroll their children in the Darul Arqam Islamic Boarding School is very high. However, the growth in the number of students is not balanced with the availability of facilities such as dormitories, study rooms and simple kitchens. This obstacle will be resolved, so that students who study at the school feel comfortable.
“Moreover, many of them come from underprivileged families. There are orphans and duafa. It is very noble if we think about this situation and contribute significantly,” said Ustadz Muhammad Nasir.
Meanwhile, the head of Tolowe Ponre Waru village, Edi Sul Dasir, revealed that through the Ceria’s PPM / CSR program, the Government really appreciates it, including the construction of infrastructure in the form of educational facilities for Islamic boarding schools in Ponre.
“Hopefully this program will run well, so that students feel the comfort and happiness of studying at this pesantren (Islamic boarding school), especially in the future they will continue the hard work for the da’wah in an effort to participate in enriching the life of the nation” said Edi Sul Dasir.
