BUMISULTRA KOLAKA – PT Ceria Nugraha Indotama has distributed educational scholarships through PPM / CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program funds of IDR 68 million, to a number of students and college students in Wolo sub-district.
According to the Head of Wolo sub-district Andi Agung, the total amount of tuition fees submitted to students in Wolo sub-district is IDR 68,400,000, divided to elementary, junior high, high school and student levels.
“For the total number of students who receive tuition fees, I do not know the exact [number], what is certain is that students who receive [the scholarships] are from the Wolo sub-district community,” said Andi Agung, Wednesday (16/12/2020) via his cell phone.
The Head of Wolo sub-district says he is proud of Ceria, because the presence of this mining company has helped the community around the mining area, especially in Wolo District, both in educational assistance and other facilities.
“We would like to express our gratitude and high appreciation to the leadership of Ceria, because they have provided one of the CSR programs in education,” he said.
Andi Agung hopes that the harmony between the government, the community and the company in Wolo sub-district will be maintained, especially since the presence of Ceria has a positive impact on the surrounding community.(*)
